AS ONE TALE ENDS

I've enjoyed these two at South Pacific Auto Sales for over 20 years.

It was fun!

The business closed.

Emptiness emerged.

My muse mourned.

A NEW TALE BECKONS

When I imagined these two wondering about their next tale,

I wondered about mine.

What is assumed for me

versus

dreams unfulfilled.

Would these two survive?

The neighborhood vandals

might notice the duo

during their regular work

a mere block or two away

at the ol'

Truck 'n Tractor Electric.

Then, like "out of the blue," 

they were purchased and moved to their new home . . . and I just happened to be there while it was happening!

I took photos, talked with the new owners, learned a lot, and became so inspired !:-)

These two, every time I drive by now, "nudge" me to keep my faith and move forward with my own mission, my learning, and my tale from across at least the last half century.

I sometimes feel like I'm facilitating my own "Noah's Ark" of lore learned, lore lusted away from expectations of one my age, and lore lost now living.

MY TALE BECKONS

As I imagined these two wondering about their next tale,

I reflected about mine.

My death/reboot/refit experiences 

over these past few years

nudged my wife to suggest:

"If you want a *creative* obituary, 

you'll have to do it.

Otherwise,

I'll just say,

He lived!

He died!

*** and ***

He had a

*most*

*awesome*

*wonderful*

wife!'"

SETTING COURSE

Over a short span of time, 

this site has evolved into a creation I couldn't fully imagine at first until I reached this point in my voyage.

Inspirations include 

a neighbor's estate sale,

defining what is a 

"living obituary,"

 and

discovering

rediscovering

creations,

dreams,

inspirations, 

and 

resources

while

underway.

They are now welcome crew members

for our continuing I-don't-know-how-many-year voyage ahead.

I feel empowered, honored, and a wee bit scared as

"Captain."
